El Vado Ranch

Our Cabin 4_06.jpgCoopers El Vado Ranch

Tierra Amarilla, New Mexico

The El Vado Ranch is a family owned and operated camping, fishing and hunting facility. The ranch is owned by David Cooper and has been in the Cooper family for more than 60 years. Coopers offers great accomodations and access to some of the best trout waters in Northern New Mexico.

El Vado Ranch is open year around. In the Spring, Summer and Fall the cabins are primarily occupied by fisherman. The Chama river offers some of the very best trout fishing anywhere in the state. The river is absolutely full of beautiful rainbow and native brown trout. The waters are open to both live bait (worms) and to fly fishing as well.
